Living Stones
In the ancient near east, people would erect massive stones called, in the Hebrew language, MASSEBOTH. These Standing Stones would be a testimony of what God had done in the land. So if you saw a Standing Stone, you would ask a local of that community what happened here and the local would reply, “Well God did this…”
The disciple Peter writes in the Bible that we are also like Standing Stones but we’re Living Stones, testimonies of God's work within us. So you too, are Living Stones, and we hope that our life of Love, Faith and Hope would attract and draw people near to the living God.
Meeting time
When: Sundays: 7:30—9:00 pm at the church
What we do: We gather weekly to celebrate the risen Jesus through Worship and gain more understanding of God through Teaching.
What we are not: We are not into comfort and stagnancy; we want to reach outside of our walls to make a difference in this World. We hope to be a tool to change the community around us here and now.
What to expect when you get here
Have you ever been to school on the first day when you didn’t know anyone? Or have you ever been to a party that you were randomly invited to, but sadly you don’t know anyone? The feeling is sort of like that, but we hope to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. One way we do that is by offering free food, yes, free food, and not your snack food, but real food like pasta, and corndogs and more.
We hope you feel welcomed and accepted for who you are. Furthermore, we would like you to know that we Worship with contemporary music and we provide weekly messages that are relevant and thought provoking. We believe that God speaks through His Word but also God speaks to us through everyday living, and we hope that as a community of Jesus followers we could point out to each other the movement and voice of God today.
